Your Rebel Life selected as a Great-on-Kindle book!

Super excited to learn today that my nonfiction book – Your Rebel Life – was chosen by Amazon USA as a Great-on-Kindle book!
It joins my first nonfiction book -Your Rebel Dreams- in the program.
Amazon’s Great-on-Kindle program hand selects the highest quality books from the eight million plus titles in their global store.
A huge thanks to my talented interior book designer Jeffrey (Coultier, UK), my amazing editor Stephanie (Parent, USA), and my lovely cover designer Angela (Oltmann, Canada). Thank you for making my books beautiful! You’re an amazing team.
The Rebel Diva nonfiction series is about self-empowerment. I’m a huge believer in taking responsibility for your life, accountability for your thoughts and actions, and steering toward success through hard work, perseverance, a growth mindset, and a strong vision.
This is the way I have got to where I am, starting out in a new country at 19 years old with no one and nothing more than a strong desire to propel me forward. I wrote the Rebel Diva books thinking there might be another young woman out there, feeling lost and alone with a burning desire to create a brand new life.
If I touch just one person and help them achieve their Rebel Dreams in life, I will have done my job!
Grateful for the opportunity to be of service

Grateful for the opportunity to be of service

They planted a tree for me!
This gesture means a lot to me and is a culmination of my time with the federal government of Canada.
Grateful to have had the opportunity to serve this great and wonderful country that adopted me as their immigrant daughter.
Thank you, Canada! For everything.
Are you feeling uncertain about your career and life?

Are you feeling uncertain about your career and life?

If you recently lost your job or are feeling lost in the aftermath of all this, I wanted to let you know the ebooks in my Rebel Diva Empower Yourself series are on a super Labor Day sale this week.

I wrote these books to honour a time when I was struggling with my career choice and life situation.

I’d just quit my six-figure job (which was becoming toxic), got divorced after a twelve-year marriage (it was time to say a sad goodbye), left my dream home, and moved three-thousand miles across the country to start fresh in a new city all by myself.

It was a scary and challenging time.

This was particularly scary as I started my young adult life as a lone immigrant girl with $20, and no family or place to call home. For five years, I lived in a basement suite and worked menial jobs to pay for my college education, always a month away from being homeless.

So, to give up everything I had built over two decades with so much sweat and tears was frightening.

But in just a few years after my move, I wrote six novels, one novella, seventeen short stories for two anthologies, and got nominated for a dozen literary awards, winning seven.

Finally, I was doing the job I’d been dreaming about, the one that would give me no regrets on my deathbed.

I also learned how to take care of my mental and physical health My constant migraines, stomach pains and bouts of flu have all gone. I’m at my perfect weight and fitter than I was in my twenties. I’ve never felt better in my life.

I also learned how to create new habits to become super productive that I can write a book in a month and still get my sleep and workout and eat well.

It’s funny how things turn out, when you follow your passions, isn’t it?

It’s this monumental life change that propelled me to write the Rebel Diva Empower Yourself nonfiction books. I wanted to compile all the lessons I’d learned and share them.
